The Gallery @ Chaotic Creative

I’ve finished capping season 3 of Doctor Who, and I’m working on season 2 of Torchwood and season 3 of Supernatural. I know there are other galleries out there already, but hey, I wanted to have a complete season gallery for those shows, so there we are.

And here’s a question - I have season 1 of The Sarah Connor Chronicles in HR available - are you guys interested in seeing caps for the show?

Due to, well, several factors that don’t need exploring at this particular juncture, I’m putting the gallery on hiatus, most likely to be extended for a couple more months. The screencaps are coming, but for the moment, my computer access is very limited, so I have no opportunities to actually sit down and make the caps. I am looking for options to remedy the situation as soon as I can, but for the moment, I have no idea how long that’ll take. I’m going to try and get some work done on the caps, but I can’t guarantee when they’ll be available.

Hi everyone! I’ve got the screencaps for the last two episodes of Supernatural as well as Doctor Who episodes 3×04 and 3×05 on the hard drive, but as I’m getting ready to move, they will have to wait till I’m all settled in. I would also have the screencaps for Doctor Who 3×07, but the HR version has not yet come up anywhere–or at least not in a format that doesn’t require me to resize and recolor the screencaps before posting them. I don’t think anyone would enjoy the horribly stretched and discolored images I’m getting, and I’m really not up to processing them that much. So, hopefully by the weekend, there’ll be another version, and if not, I guess I’ll get started on the others, and figure out some way to process them properly.

I’ve had numerous requests for zip files of the screencaps, and as they are available automatically from the gallery, I don’t upload separate ones. But I figured I’d do a tutorial of sorts on how exactly to do that.

It’s a very simple process, requiring four steps:

1. In the album list page, click on “Add Album to Cart.”

2. In the cart page, you will have the option of removing images you don’t want included in the  zip file.

3. In the upper right corner of the page, click on the dropdown menu, and select “Download in Zip.”

4. Click Go and your download will start.

That’s it!

Wow, guys, what a year! We had the gallery, we lost the gallery, we got the gallery back! We got new shows - Supernatural and Torchwood (in hi-res, no less!), and then we got the return of Doctor Who in “The Runaway Bride.”  Here’s hoping for Doctor Who in hi-res this year (come on, BBC, you know you wanna!) I’m also going to cap season 1 of Supernatural off the DVDs I got, so it’ll be as close to hi-res as it’ll come as I don’t have it in hi-res.

I’ve also added some fanart and “things I do when I’m bored and feeling cracked out” to the fanart gallery - there’s stuff in there that’s TV-related as well as stuff that’s related to original fiction I’m writing. Enjoy the crack!

If you’ve come here via any of the posts either at dj_capslock or at cap_it or a link from someone else’s LJ, you’re probably looking for screencaps, and Doctor Who screencaps in particular. Since the Great Muck-Up of the Summer of 2006 (ie. the admin screwing up an upgrade and having to reinstall everything) I haven’t reposted all the Who screencap posts that used to be here - mostly because there’s just too many of them to do individual posts for each and every one. Just follow the Gallery link in the sidebar, and you’ll be able to find whatever you’re looking for. Now that Torchwood is starting up in a couple of weeks, there will be more regular posts with links to the individual galleries so you’ll be able to access them directly.

As you can see, all the old posts are gone, since I had to reinstall everything. I’m sure there was another way to fix it, but I just lost patience and couldn’t stand fiddling with things anymore.

The screencaps still have to be reuploaded, but I am working on that, so as soon as they’re ready, I’ll post an announcement here and in my LJ.
